Craigslist Personals was something of an early dating platform wherein users could submit postings to catch the attention of others. Overtime, it became a multi use space that supported many ways of connecting, be it through sex work, resource sharing, or the public divulging personal secrets. “Toward Be/Longing” was developed as an effort to preserve, archive and pay homage to the unlikely digital communities that flourished across the platform.
